The four of them are working full speed as Zoo are producing and taking part in a number of productions on our local TV Stations. The first one which is surely taking a lot of their time and energy but will be surely worth watching is LONDRI. A new series to be aired every day. It is a breath of fresh air compared to the other dramas as this is a light and funny comedy.

The four will be portraying curious characters which live in a block of flats owned by Melchior (Daniel). Melchior owns also a laundry, which is the entrance to these apartments. Mario and Diane (parts played by Chrysander and Claire) are a married couple who are seeking only a bit of quiteness and peace.

Gerald – Diane’s brother is always running around them together with Axl and his nanna (parts played by Ian Fenech and the beautiful Pat Mahoney).

Zoo goes Movies is still going on. It seems that people are loving it and thanks for all those who are phoning for more tickets. Shows are sold out but we will be soon working on our next one in May!

After a good number of performances in their last show ‘Zoo goes 5’ they immediately started preparing for the show they held on New Year’s Eve. It was a hit as they performed sketches and interacted with Ozi Lino and Band. Than the people danced the night away celebrating the new year. Hopefully the New Year will start with a bang with this new show which will feature ‘famous movies’.

As usual Zoo will tackle the movies from every aspect. They will feature the most famous films surely but will definately tackle other things that come to mind when you think about movies. The actors, the crew, the popcorn, the sets, ticket boothes, drive ins, 3 D and much more. New characters will be born in this show which will give a new tinge to this coming show after the last one which was a resume and a memoir of the first five years of Zoo.

This time they are making extra effort to create new costumes and scenery which are altered to fit exactly their sketches. Zoo will be once again be a unique experience yet different from the previous shows they have performed. They have slowly gathered an audience who are always looking forward for two hours of laughter, and they always chase newcomers, that is why they always try to differ with themes and sketches. Things which people love and are accustomed to when they attend a Zoo show are definately their humour and acts which people have grown to love and accept like the audience participation acts.

The Go Zoo goes Movies will be held on the 26, 27th and 28th of February 2010, at the City Theatre in Valletta. Tickets can be purchased online from www.biljetti.com or from the outlets situated in various locations. Outlets are Dual Zone in Qormi, Untours in Zabbar, Icentre in Pieta, 202 Jewellers in Valletta, Cell Zone in Paola and Right Deal in Iklin or Cospicua. For more info log on to www.zoo.com.mt

We saw the various mishaps and traits of various characters, that live in the same block – Maghtab Estate. Show was held at the Powerhouse Theatre, Valletta Waterfront and less people per show were seated, thus show was more intimate and no one could miss a line, but the Zoo team had to perform 10 jam packed full shows. This show had a lot of political content which Zoo could not ignore after the election. The people loved every part of it and the best feeling was that everyone joked and laughed at political jokes being told even against the political party they fervently support.
